National Galleries today with Rembrandt




I did two small drawings in my journal: value map.


Not quite done...

 

The gallery staff were very kind and thanks to all the passers by who encouraged me.  I painted for about 4 hours today and I think I might ask to go back to do another study...so much to learn!

    Hi Bethann, Last weekend I visited the Museum of Wisconsin Art and saw your Community Garden painting. It is inspiring and the last one you entered, the pile of sticks, also, great. I'd like to meet you one of these days. Fred Bell
